Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information and Technology, Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate located in either location Lorton, VA or Springfield, VA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →In the position, you will provide receipt, acceptance, barcoding, inventory, and tracking of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) assets for Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate (EIOD) federal and contract employees.
- →This position starts at a salary of $102,415.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $133,142.00 (GS-12, Step 10).
- →Major duties include: Managing, regulating and coordinating assigned personal property/assets, supplies and equipment within CBP.
- →Following and implementing OIT property/asset management directives and procedures.
- →Serving as technical advisor to manager on all inventory and supply management activities.
- →Tracking the flow of materials through shipment and storage, to final distribution.
- →Identifying and mitigating risks with inventory management tasks, including lifting, moving, or handling equipment and materials.

Requirements
