Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information and Technology, Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate located in Springfield, VA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →In the position, you will provide receipt, acceptance, barcoding, inventory, and tracking of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) assets for Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate (EIOD) federal and contract employees.
- →This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10) Major Duties: Managing, regulating and coordinating or cover assigned personal property, assets, supplies and equipment within CBP.
- →Maintaining storage records and developing data for inventory reports.
- →Tracking the flow of materials through shipment and storage, to final distribution and verifying requisition priorities in acquisitions and shipping lead-time.
- →Performing random inventories, identifying discrepancies, conducting in-depth searches for missing items or equipment, and reconciling inventory and stock levels; when complete making recommendations for replacement criteria and shelf life of inventory items.
- →Projecting needs for accountable property and supporting supplies, anticipating future requirements and addressing potential shortages.

Requirements
