This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is an Interdisciplinary Engineer GS-13 position with US Army Engineer District, Little Rock Operations Division Hydropower Support Branch, located in Little Rock, AR. This position can be filled in one of the following series: 0801, 0810, 0830, 0850.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Program Manager and technical specialist for the Hydropower Customer FundingProgram, Little Rock District, under the Chief of Hydropower Support Branch.
- →Facilitates and coordinates with superintendent/specialists, SWD, HDC, design, construction and operations engineers for phasing of work at hydroelectric plants within the district.
- →Prepares, implements, and maintains the Hydropower Customer Program Management Plan to guide all aspects of the program in accordance with the USACE Project Management Business Process.
- →Serves as the point of contact of hydropower for Little Rock District interacting with District staff.
- →Serves on various committees and professional organizations providing information, communication and coordination of hydropower activities and projects in the District.
