You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER/OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, COST AND SCHEDULE ANALYSIS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
What You'll Do
- →You will ensure that all products and services provided to Cost Department Customers are in accordance with established Cost Department policy, procedures and processes.
- →You will perform analyses for systems in all phases of the life cycle (development, production, sustainment) and involve state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing techniques.
- →You will contribute to change and growth within the Cost Department by assisting in the research and development of new tools, techniques, processes, and training.
- →You will prepare cost estimates to support the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) requirements, program reviews, logistics management reviews, and other management decisions.
- →You will direct and lead the day-to-day operations of the Team and perform analytical duties as required.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: 0896: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
