About the Role
This position is located in the Department of War (DoW), Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA), Export Control Directorate. As a recognized expert, the incumbent performs professional engineering or scientific work reviewing and developing coordinated DoW recommendations on international transfers of defense-related goods, services, and technologies to ensure they are consistent with U.S. national security interest.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Plans coordinates and carries out projects.
- →Evaluates and interprets license applications, commodity jurisdiction requests, and related submissions.
- →Developing new or improved approaches to analyze, develop, and present authoritative information and analyses.
- →Coordinates major analytical efforts for the resolution of important technology export issues.
- →Participates in and negotiates the DoD position in conferences, meetings, or presentations involving militarily critical technology.

- ✓GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
