About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Special Operations Command (Army), Strategic Systems Support Element, Headquarters located at Alexandria, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as an Intelligence Specialist and Project Officer, responsible for the planning, directing, reviewing, coordinating and supervising the training activities of selected components of the organization.
- →Serve as the primary advisor to the chain of command regarding all matters related to support to soldiers deployed forward.
- →Develop, validate, and implement CONUS and OCONUS administrative and operational communications plans.
- →Manage budgets, counterintelligence (Cl), training, planning, communications, administrative, finance, operations, inter-agency communications, reporting, logistics and legal.
- →Submit and monitor annual expense plans and budgets for the Team, to include sourcing and de-obligating funds as necessary to enable operations.
- →Assist in the development and evaluation of new activities tactics, techniques and procedures for implementation in the field.
- →Develop and present mission concept, multimedia story boards, commander back briefs, and other inter-agency briefings as required.
- →Utilize and maintain communications mechanisms to support operations.
