About the Role
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the INSCOM, 780th Military Intelligence Brigade, 782d Military Intelligence Battalion, located at Fort Gordon, GA.
What You'll Do
- →Perform initial and advanced analysis to establish and target identification and operational patterns.
- →Assist with integrating Cyberspace Operations capabilities into operations and integrating Cyber-related effects.
- →Facilitate timely and accurate information of staff responsibilities in connection with the execution of Cyberspace Operations support actions.
- →Leverage information derived from a variety of computer network defense resources and SIGINT resources to identify events that occur or may occur on computer networks.
- →Executes SIGINT and/or computer network operations (CNO) tactics, techniques, and procedures to assess computer network defense information and multi-disciplined intelligence to identify technical system vulnerabilities.
- →Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with a wide range of Service and Joint military personnel as well as elements of the Intelligence Community.
- →Identifies intelligence gaps and develop detailed information needs, collection requirements, and access strategies to support ongoing operations, targeting processes, and/or future operations planning.
- →Uses Intelligence Community (IC) Analytic Standards and tradecraft in the research, preparation, and production of intelligence reports on highly-complex and/or technically challenging problem sets.
