The primary purpose of this position is: To engage in complex technical collection and reporting of information from multi-intelligence sources, through various means, related to political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, scientific, and/or military conditions, trends, and forces that directly or indirectly affect national security and has broad and global implications.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a multi-source intelligence analyst on complex technical analysis and production.
- →Must use independent judgment and experience to develop new methods, approaches and procedures.
- →Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers.
- →Provides leadership and customer information and analysis derived from ISR assets to maximize forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths.
- →Coordinates and gathers technical information to satisfy organizational requirements.
- →Uses a variety of requirement tasking methods (email, phone call, COLISEUM, etc.) and then builds production schedules to meet consumer demand.
- →Represents the Center, USAF, DoD and the US at conferences, workshops, formal interagency committees and meeting with executive service level officials and scientists (civilian and military) of the United States.
- →Minimizes duplication and maximizes sharing of information to gain necessary cooperation and support or persuade to action to unify efforts.

- ✓ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
- ✓This position is in the Excepted Service.
- ✓DoD Components with DCIPS positions apply Veterans' Preference to preference eligible candidates as defined by Section 2108 of Title 5 USC, in accordance with the procedures provided in DoD Instruction 1400.25, Volume 2005, DCIPS Employment and Placement.
