The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior intelligence analyst and subject matter expert responsible for the direction, oversight, and coordination of analytical support to AFOSI investigations, operations, collections, and target management. Also, serve as a supervisor by planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over limited staff of nonsupervisory employees.
What You'll Do
- →DUTY 1: Serves as the senior advisor, technical intelligence expert, and consultant on analysis and production support to AFOSI law enforcement (LE) and counterintelligence (CI) activities.
- →Serves as a senior intelligence analyst, with responsibility for production of innovative, integrated intelligence analysis in a very broad and complex intelligence subject area which has application to major customer requirements.
- →DUTY 2: Executes and manages AFOSI law enforcement and counterintelligence intelligence analysis and production.
- →Develops overall analytical objectives, project scope and emphasis through a broad assessment of customer requirements, activity and agency mission objectives and significant new information or trends in assigned subject area.
- →Formulates AFOSI's intelligence position on law enforcement and counterintelligence issues.
- →Manages and oversees intelligence production to satisfy agency requirements.
- →DUTY 3: Serves as a senior technical authority on law enforcement and counterintelligence support to Air Force-wide programs, as well as the technical subject matter expert to identify, develop and satisfy requirements for intelligence support to each law enforcement and counterintelligence team.
- →Makes authoritative recommendations and defends to AFOSI leadership and staff, decisions on analysis and production matters; often required to make difficult decisions committing funds or resources impacting future capabilities.
- →DUTY 4: Conducts and oversees the most complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.
- →Evaluates relevance and reliability of both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.
- →Conducts research, evaluates, analyzes, and fuses multi-source information from all intelligence disciplines (primarily HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT) to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements.
- →DUTY 5: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements.
