The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an intelligence analyst engaging in the semi-complex to complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of customer requirements.

What You'll Do

  • DUTY 1: Serves as an intelligence analyst on semi-complex to complex technical analysis and production activities.
  • DUTY 2: Presents ISR semi-complex to complex capabilities to service, national, and coalition customers within defined areas of responsibility.
  • DUTY 3: Conducts semi-complex to complex analysis of multi-source intelligence.
  • Evaluates both classified and unclassified critical and/or sensitive information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses and centers of gravity DUTY 4: Participates in complex and/or manages semi-complex intelligence production.
  • Participates in complex and/or manages semi-complex component, combatant command, and support agency production requirements.
  • DUTY 5: Serves as a functional expert on ISR issues.
  • Makes recommendations on operational matters used to initiate management actions to revise policy to commit Agency funds or resources

Requirements

  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
  • This position is in the Excepted Service.
  • DoD Components with DCIPS positions apply Veterans' Preference to preference eligible candidates as defined by Section 2108 of Title 5 USC, in accordance with the procedures provided in DoD Instruction 1400.25, Volume 2005, DCIPS Employment and Placement.
