About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters, Law Enforcement Operations Directorate, Intelligence, located in Sterling, VA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

What You'll Do

  • This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
  • Typical duties of this assignment include: Serving as a multi-source intelligence collection specialist/analyst on complex operational assignments.
  • Analyzing collected information into intelligence products and effectively collaborates intelligence to decision makers and collectors as feedback.
  • Conducting complex research, evaluation, collection, dissemination, and fusion of multi-source information from one or more intelligence disciplines to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements.
  • Planning, directing, and integrating functions to provide ISR intelligence and situational awareness necessary to successfully plan and conduct operations within the assigned areas of responsibility.

Requirements
