See QUALIFICATIONS for important information about this position. Serves as a technical expert for staff that support the SSA's IT Investment Review Board (IT IRB) and is responsible for supporting all agency-level IT investment management decisions. Plays a key role in SSA's IT governance processes and supports crucial aspects of SSA's IT Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes. See DUTIES for additional responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- →Engages and facilitates affected stakeholders, manages their expectations to improve their acceptance of the program objectives, schedule and metrics.
- →Serves as the principal advisor to the implementation of plans, procurements, risks and deliverables of program elements; develops and tracks performance metrics and provides regular program-level status updates.
- →Provides expert advisory and consultative services to the overall development, direction, analysis and evaluation of all aspects of the IT governance process.
- →Ensures that SSA invests in IT projects that provide best value to the agency and that SSA successfully implements those projects.
