The U.S. International Trade Commission is an independent Federal agency that provides the President and Congress with high-quality analysis and technical support on international trade, tariff and competitiveness issues; investigates and makes determinations in proceedings involving imports claimed to injure a domestic industry or violate U.S. intellectual property rights; and maintains the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
What You'll Do
- →MAJOR DUTIES Ensures USITC production websites are effectively maintained and available, website content is up-to-date, and helps identify and resolve basic website issues.
- →Supports the overall technical implementation of the USITC's Internet and intranet website services, Supports the secure configuration, administration and optimization of web technologies and third-party software hosting or integrated with agency websites Operates web monitoring tools to collect and review usage and performance data and reports findings to senior Web Team staff.
- →Assists with implementing projects by following established software-development and project-management practices.
Requirements
- ✓GS-9: To substitute education for specialized experience, you must possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related; or you may combine specialized experience and graduate level education which totals at least 100 percent.
- ✓(school transcript required by closing date) GS-11: To substitute education for specialized experience, you must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; or you may combine specialized experience and graduate level education which totals at least 100 percent.
