This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Fort Bragg, NC.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the Chief for Special Communications (SC) within SOTF.
- →Serve as a SC project manager and SME for the research and development, acquisition, and fielding of low density, highly specialized telecommunications, information technology, and software application programs, systems, services, and equipment.
- →Identify and establish requirements and priorities for current and future communications, electronics, and software development programs — including CI/CD pipeline architecture, DevSecOps practices, and application lifecycle management.
- →Translate broad concepts and objectives into projects and programs with specific delineation of roles across organizational elements, to include managing programmatic and cost structures behind cloud environments.
- →Translate broad concepts and objectives into projects and programs with specific delineation of roles across organizational elements, to include software development efforts, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- →Serve as technical expert and advisor on management analysis, manpower and resource allocation, and emerging technologies including cloud-native application development, containerization, and automated deployment frameworks.
