The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Advanced Program Office Information Assurance Specialist assigned as the wing commander's authority and focal point for Information Assurance. Manages the communication-computer security program, Communications Security Responsibility Officer, Emission Security, and Information Assurance Awareness Programs.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Special Access Program Information System Security Officer.
- →Assists in administering Advanced Programs local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) Serves as the Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager for all cryptographic activities including managing the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP).
- →Provides customer technical assistance, training and support.
- →Provides ongoing technical support to customers to ensure proper functional use of equipment and programs and to preclude undue interruptions to IT services
