What You'll Do
- →Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist providing technical and advisory assistance in support of the information management needs of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO).
- →Performs a variety of tasks associated with the day-to-day operations and administration of IT and related systems within the Office of the United States Attorney.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Manages accounts, network rights and access to system equipment.
- →Assists the webmaster and develops, tests and implements internet, intranet and extranet litigation support activities.
- →Provides user training and assistance on a variety of routine and specialized applications.
- →Provides a wide variety of technical support services to coordinate teleconference and distance learning activities to effectively deliver legal training using electronic and or telecommunications media.
- →Installs routine updates and patches to existing programs.
- →Maintains operating systems components based on knowledge of the organizations operational environment.
- →Provides customer service and support in troubleshooting, recovering and resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
- →Implements policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability.
- →Monitors functionality, security, and integrity of internet services.
- →Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains customer hardware and software.
- →Provides expert technical advice and guidance on digital communications issues.
- →Maintains and controls the districts phone and telecommunications inventory.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
