This vacancy is aimed at insourcing critical technical leadership skills. Roles may include being the technical lead over real-time mission operations in the Mission Control Center, mission systems development, testing, and integration, training and simulation, analysis, and other mission support functions essential to human spaceflight.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze and evaluate technology systems to identify opportunities for performance improvement, modernization, and operational effectiveness across organizations.
- →Develop and refine system requirements, technical documentation, and implementation plans supporting all phases of mission activities.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and sustain technical solutions supporting mission and operational requirements.
- →Provide technical leadership in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex system or application issues impacting mission performance.
- →Assess emerging technologies and recommend technical solutions that improve system performance, safety, and operational capability.
- →Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives, policies, and Directorate priorities.
- →Develop and deliver technical briefings, reports, and recommendations to leadership sup-porting informed decision-making.
