About the Position: This position is for the Department of War Education Activity, Information Technology Division's Data Integration/Enterprise Automation team located in Peachtree City, GA. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Assist in managing existing software quality assurance processes and enforcing existing software and data quality standards.
- →Plan and coordinate the development of data structures and data elements to use in the system, and to maximum performance tuning of the databases.
- →Develop variety of designs, programming and documentation tasks for IT applicants.
- →Prepare project plans, meetings, budgets, standard operating procedures, reports and resource utilization estimates.
- →Analyze and maintain inventory of applications/systems and metrics such as cost to build and maintain an application, how often an application is used, and the interrelationships with other applications.
- →Develop applications and workflows in ServiceNow and potentially other various programming languages/platforms, such as SharePoint, NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, XML, and other web languages/tools.
