This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This announcement is to fill a Holistic Health and Fitness Program Director position with the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, U.S. Army Engineer School, 1st Engineer Brigade at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
What You'll Do
- →Supervise the H2F Human Performance Team.
- →Provide education and training to various groups regarding human performance and H2F programs.
- →Monitor the program's effectiveness and provide training and technical support to develop, manage, and implement an effective human performance program.
- →Conduct group and individual human performance consultations and oversight to include cardiovascular, strength, power, agility, flexibility, nutrition, and cognitive performance.
- →Conduct research and analysis on human performance.
- →Manage resources, contracting, budget, procurement, facilities, and equipment.
- →Analyze emerging mission requirements and conduct short- and long-term planning.
- →Serve as the program coordinator for the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program, which includes kinesiology, dietetics and nutrition, physical therapy, occupational therapy, cognitive performance, and strength and conditioning.
- →Evaluate, analyze, research, and implement program policies, guidance, and standard operating procedures.
