About the Role
The primary purpose of the Health Tech position is to perform duties that support the rehabilitation team in treating patients at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center. The position is located in Rehabilitation Services under Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Extended Care Service.
What You'll Do
- →Duties to include but are not limited to: Ability to communicate effectively Skill to perform a range of treatment procedures, under the direction of a physical or occupational therapist in implementing a rehabilitation treatment plan.
- →Skill to assist in the support of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinics.
- →Knowledge of signs and symptoms of emergent conditions.
- →Skill to assist the PT/OT with complex wheelchair seating.
- →EHR Documentation Documentation of issued medical equipment Assists with general clerical duties Scheduling patient appointments per text order Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
