This position is located in the Change Management Directorate within the Chief Medical Office (CMO) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA), where the incumbent serves as a Senior Training Strategist. This position will be physically located in a VA owned or leased office/space and require up to 75% official travel.
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties include but are not limited to: Ensures that the strategies are being developed and implemented at the multiple sites across multiple VISNs for which he/she is responsible.
- →Ensures training strategy deployed across the organization in service of successful end-user adoption.
- →Analyzes and reviews operations plans to provide feedback to the Director of Training Strategy.
- →Monitors comprehensive program plans, budgets, and schedules to provide feedback to the Director of Training Strategy.
- →Makes recommendations to support the build of the end user training program in conjunction with EHRM-IO.
- →Participates in the development of regulatory guidance and policy for training and education.
- →Reviews drafts, then develops responses to documents pertaining to training and education.
- →Aligns and coordinates multiple initiatives, and tests, demonstrates, and operationalizes strategies that advance large-scale organizational change through classroom to practice implementation.
- →Works closely with EHRM, vendor, and other contractors and stakeholders to measure successful deployment at the facility, VISN and national levels.
- →Uses in-depth science of education/learning and training knowledge to identify best practices and ensure that they are utilized effectively in support of process improvement of the EHRM training effort.
- →Evaluates and analyzes problems and program requirements related to EHR training strategy.
- →Leads, conducts, or participates in complex management studies and reviews, particularly those with wide or significant effect upon organizational structure, policy, or process.
- →Identifies, develops, and monitors key metrics within the VISNs and sites under his/her purview, measuring the successful implementation of EHRM in relation to training strategy.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
