About the Position: This position is located at the 87th Medical Group, Medical Treatment Facility McGuire, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Plan, organize, direct, and manage the Clinical Quality/PI programs, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to meet organizational needs.
- →Conduct studies, review clinical and business indicators, analyze findings/trends, and make recommendations for best options to affect organization-wide quality outcomes.
- →Coordinate the facility’s Quality of Care reviews for adverse events, Potentially Compensable Events, and malpractice claims/cases.
- →Assist Chief of the Medical Staff and Legal Office in sequestering evidence and preparing the facility’s case in adverse privileging/practice actions.
- →Develop and implement the facility identification/communication/ analysis, and risk reduction action plan for adverse and sentinel events in accordance with DoD and Air Force requirements.
- →Prepare applications for accreditation surveys and Unit Effectiveness Inspection and updates applications as organizational circumstances change throughout the year.
- →Regularly advise staff on changes to accreditation and inspection programs.
- →Plan the deployment of mission, vision, values, and organizational goals and objectives within the Medical Group.
