About the Position: Serves as the Exceptional Family Member Program manager supporting a Medical Readiness Command in the U.S. Army Medical Command. Position is located at Falls Church, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs, and controls the overall administrative operations of the Exceptional Family Member Program and Family Member Travel Screening.
- →Tracks medical screening failures, identifies trends, and coordinates with Department of Defense Education Activity and TRICARE.
- →Trains Exceptional Family Member Program and Family Member Travel Screening personnel on Department of Defense, Army, and Defense Health Agency policies; conducts staff assistance visits and inspections for compliance.
- →Performs staff officer duties including authoring regional policies, responding to congressional inquiries, and presenting to various audiences Plans and assigns work to subordinates, evaluates performance, handles disciplinary measures, and interviews/selects candidates.
