What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician at an associate wing, functioning as the wing focal point for supply operations.
- →Provides oversight of supply operations, training for reservists, provide guidance and assistance to all wing personnel and supervision to a small number of subordinates.
- →Duties: Serves as the supply liaison between the senior ART and subordinate units within the wing, key staff, NAF, host support base and higher headquarters.
- →Reviews policies, methods and procedures pertaining to logistics supply liaison interface, responsibilities and authorities.
- →Performs staff assistance visits to subordinate units to evaluate local management procedures, recommends corrective action, trains personnel in correct procedures and insures good working relationships exists between wind and host base supply accounts.
- →Develops, provides guidance, and assures implementation of the training programs, including annual tours for all reserve supply personnel assigned to the wing and any geographically separated units (GUSs).
- →Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments related to supply functions.
- →Serves as the wing focal point for all supply related matters during unit mobility exercises and deployments.
- →Represents the wing at supply meetings and conferences with the host base supply function and at MAJCOM level.
- →Maintains surveillance of the wing supply program, coordinating with host supply and squadrons concerning changes, discrepancies and inventories related to the organization's equipment and supplies.
