What You'll Do
- →Responsible for management control and efficient operation of the Transient Lodging facilities.
- →Conducts surveys and studies to ensure that services and facilities meet the needs, cleanliness and desire of patrons.
- →Implements new policies or innovative promotions that increase occupancy rate, deliver quality guest service and maintain the required level of profitability.
- →Develops and implements strategies/procedures to ensure safety and security of occupants.
- →Maintains oversight and monitoring of all facets of transient lodging to include financial operations to include development and execution of Nonappropriated (NAF) operating budgets, NAF capital expenditure budget, Appropriated Fund (APF) expenditures and construction project development.
- →Reviews/analyzes monthly financial operations, ensuring integrity of financial transactions and procurement management.
- →Directs the preparation and execution of all reports required by higher authority.
- →Recommends changes to improve financial status considered necessary.
- →Ensures compliance of preventative maintenance and deep clean programs.
- →Plans, organizes work, and manages internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies.
- →Manages new property resources and may provide direction on facility renovations and improvements.
- →Develops long range plans in conjunction with internal operating directives and exercises internal personnel management authorities as delegated by the higher-level supervisor with regard to subordinate supervisors and employees.
- →Evaluates needs on a continuing basis by interest surveys, personal contacts with individuals and/or groups and other data collection and analysis to determine customer interest and need.
- →Determines facilities staffing and equipment needs for new or expanded programs and justifies recommendations and requirements.
