Position will serve as Chemical and Material Risk Management Program Manager, with responsibility to assess emerging chemicals; identify their criticality to defense and possible regulatory and supply chain risks relevant to defense research and development, weapons production operations, maintenance, and disposal; manage their use and impacts to environment, safety and occupational health; and identify actions to prevent inadvertent release.

- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serve as program manager for chemical and material risk management.
- →Support the chemical and material risk management program and budget.
- →Incorporate knowledge of chemical performance, corrosion prevention and control, and advanced technologies to ensure that the agency incorporates resilient chemicals and materials into weapon systems early in the acquisition process and throughout the system lifecycle.
- →Lead interdisciplinary and cross-functional engagement for global chemicals and materials issues, and oversee communications and stakeholder alignment.
