This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Pine Bluff Arsenal in Pine Bluff Arkansas. This position serves as General Engineer.
What You'll Do
- →Adjusts and applies established engineering practices in making significant changes to facilities, processes, line layouts, etc., to solve operational problems.
- →Conducts research for facilities and equipment improvements and procurements, gathers data from industry experts and local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and develops cost data analyses utilizing Command provided software.
- →Coordinates in-house system analyses and evaluation of contractor's analyses to determine the effects that design or proposed changes in design will have on performance and operating requirements.
- →Prepares economic analyses in accordance with guidance from Command Staff and higher headquarters.
