The incumbent serves as a General Engineer and provides specialized expertise by performing a broad range of technical assignments by developing, modifying, operating, evaluating, and overseeing specialized systems, processes, and applications.
What You'll Do
- →As a General Engineer, you will: Serve as a program manager for various National Nuclear Security Administration mission areas and operations at the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC).
- →Analyze risk to evaluate potential impacts on weapon quality and schedule delivery; interpret and provide program guidance to the KCNSC M&O contractor and work to resolve problems and conflicts.
- →Participate and contribute to the development of the annual Corporate Performance Evaluation Plan for the M&O Contractor.
- →Administer, conduct, and coordinate long-range planning studies on behalf of the NNSA to assure that advance resource requirements are identified and consistent with future workload projections.
Requirements
- ✓Subject to Random Drug Testing Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- ✓Favorable suitability determination required.
- ✓Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q level Security Clearance.
- ✓You must be a United States Citizen.
