These are TEMPORARY, INTERMITTENT positions located in the Overseas Support Services Branch, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The incumbent serves as a General Engineer responsible for the review and inspection of structural modifications, structural maintenance, and installation of a wide variety of highly complex security equipment systems of U.S. government facilities worldwide.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, directs, manages, and coordinates overseas DS technical security operations and assets for the assigned region.
- →Provides technical and management oversight for the deployment, operation, integration, direction, and utilization of technical security personnel Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of all elements of the overseas support program for the assigned region.
- →Reviews work products to ensure that technical standards and customer requirements are met and complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- →Conducts high-level technical investigations, security countermeasure inspections, and technical security assessments of regional posts.
