About the Role
This position is located in the Division of Advice, which includes the Regional Advice and Injunction Litigation Branches. The Regional Advice Branch provides legal guidance to Regional Offices on complex or novel unfair labor practice cases, cases involving new policy creation, or other cases requiring General Counsel attention. The Injunction Litigation Branch oversees initiating and litigating temporary injunction proceedings under Sections 10(j) and 10(l) of the NLRA.
What You'll Do
- →As a General Attorney (Labor) (Attorney), GS-0905-14, your typical work assignments may include: Researching, analyzing, and applying pertinent statutes, judicial decisions, Board decisions, administrative regulations and decisions formulate the most effective analysis, path, and action for the Agency to take.
- →Briefing Agency Leadership and the General Counsel on novel theories of law or those that have not yet been tested in court.
- →Resolving highly complex case issues, and meeting with high-level Agency - as needed regarding these matters.
- →Writing well-crafted, thorough, polished, and court-ready written products to support the Division.
- →Performing other duties as assigned.
