About the Role
This position is located in the Division of Advice, which includes the Regional Advice and Injunction Litigation Branches. The Regional Advice Branch provides legal guidance to Regional Offices on complex or novel unfair labor practice cases, cases involving new policy creation, or other cases requiring General Counsel attention. The Injunction Litigation Branch oversees initiating and litigating temporary injunction proceedings under Sections 10(j) and 10(l) of the NLRA.
What You'll Do
- →As a General Attorney (Labor) (Attorney), GS-0905-13, your typical work assignments may include: Performing legal reviews of an entire case before forwarding to supervisor for signature.
- →Crafting strategies for responding to various complex labor law issues and advising the appropriate official on the most proper course of action to pursue.
- →Communicating as necessary with Regional offices to ensure that dispositions are clearly and effectively understood and implemented.
- →Writing memoranda and other legal documents to support the analysis and disposition of cases.
- →Performing other duties as assigned.
