This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Application Management Group (AMG). As a Full Stack Engineer, GS-2210-12, you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist in any Group/Division within the Office of Information Technology (OIT), supporting agile system development methodologies and human-centered design practices in developing cost-effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- →Develop and maintain user interfaces using standard web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- →Work with established frameworks and libraries under general supervision to create responsive web applications.
- →Manage database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to optimize query performance, and engineer data integration strategies to ensure system scalability and integrity.
- →Perform data backup procedures and monitor database performance.
- →Conduct testing of software applications and system integrations in controlled environments.
- →Resolve complex technical issues and provide expert consultation to senior management and stakeholders.
- →Support the development of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and database integration.
