What You'll Do
- →You will assists the Forest Management Forester with all aspects of timer sales administration for approximately five lump sum timber sales and one pay-as-cut timber sale per year.
- →You will collect, compile, and calculate, timber volumes prior to lump sum timber sales.
- →You will maintain records, both electronic and physical, of timber sales progress and outstanding and satisfied payments for pay-as-cut sales and additional timber volumes for lump sum sales.
- →You will assist Forest Management Forester and other forestry technicians in the collection of field data for approximately ten forest compartments annually You will locate and recommend areas for reforestation and timber stand improvement.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education, as follows: GS-06: One full year of graduate education in a field directly related to the position OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent GS-07: I have successfully completed one full year of graduate-level education which is directly related to the work of the position OR I have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
