What You'll Do
- →Provides physical fitness training to authorized patrons to include: Active Duty, Retirees, Family Members and Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian employees.
- →Organizes and conducts physical fitness assessments to include: screening and risk stratification, measurement and evaluation of an individual¿s aerobic capacity, body fat percentage, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, blood pressure, and interpretation of assessment results.
- →Provides individualized exercise plans.
- →Provides instruction and consultation on proper exercise techniques to individual and groups, and implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive fitness program to improve aerobic fitness, muscular fitness, body composition and flexibility.
- →Instructs patrons in proper use of exercise equipment while training and how to self-monitor progress either verbally or by composing written instructions for use of equipment, safety and well-being.
- →Coordinates with command representatives to develop and implement physical fitness programming for Active Duty military personnel.
- →Incumbent will work with populations deemed to be healthy, with no health risk factors, and who were not referred by a physician.
- →May register patrons, collect exercise fees, and maintain attendance and appropriate accounting records.
- →Assists in cleaning and maintaining exercise equipment in proper condition.
- →Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
- →Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
- →Takes action to solve problems quickly.
- →Alerts the higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
- →Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
