The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNI's) vision & direction to the ODNI enterprise providing elite support services including synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, & cross-functional issues that enable the ODNI mission. COO oversees most ODNI business operations, including executive support, human resources, security, facilities, continuity, governance, policies, & information management.
What You'll Do
- →Review planning, programming, architectural and engineering designs, specifications and other technical documents for proposed construction activities to validate compliance with applicable codes and standards and to identify optimal fire protection solutions.
- →Assist to determine causes, circumstances, and contributing factors of fires and operational problems or failures, and ways in which they could have been prevented.
- →Assist with, interpret, and enforce ODNI facility policies and building operation guidelines and preparation of reports and information required by ODNI, Office of Management Budget (OMB), Congress, and other government agencies.
- →Provide advice that feeds into decisions on the safe building occupancy levels, fire evacuation plans, and egress.
- →Assist with monitoring, identification, and resolution of day-to-day ODNI fire protection and life safety facilities issues and emergency situations.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a current permanent ODNI employee OR must be a current permanent Federal employee with supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment (JDA).
- ✓JDA applicants must be currently at the grade level specified in the advertisement.
- ✓No temporary promotion opportunities will be granted for this position.
- ✓The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors.
- ✓Joint Duty applicants may be considered for this position as a reimbursable detailee, if endorsed by the employing agency.
- ✓Joint Duty applicants must have a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or have the ability to obtain one.
- ✓The ODNI does not conduct polygraphs or provide security clearances for detailees.
