About the Role
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGER in the Comptroller Department (Code 600) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will implement and administer the comprehensive financial budgeting and accounting functions of the command.
- →You will serve as the functional manager for overhead cost and be the primary contact for aspects that have financial implications of the command's strategic goals.
- →You will ensure the financial operating program supports the command's overall management.
- →You will provide top management with interpretations of regulations, laws and legal concepts in conjunction with the Shipyard Legal Council.
- →You will provide oversight of the command’s government travel program ensuring mission support and compliance with applicable policy and regulations.
