About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Herlong is approximately 60 miles north of Reno, NV, and 35 miles south of Susanville, CA. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center. Employees work Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and childcare available. Mass transportation is available at minimal cost. Surrounding area boasts a full range of outdoor sports and recreation activities.
What You'll Do
- →Assign, direct and evaluate work of the subordinate organizational elements.
- →Serve as the Financial Manager and Director of Resources at an installation serving and/or interacting with 1,500 personnel.
- →Plan, organize, and direct all programs, the programs are not limited to accounting, budgeting, audit readiness/remediation, and manpower functions.
- →Interpret general policies, directives, and regulations pertaining to the financial programs and policies issued by higher echelons and in conformance therewith, issues policies and procedures.
- →Review and approve accounting, budgetary, and manpower data depot directorates for resources required to carry out programs.
- →Adjusts the installation budget to conform within imposed limitations.
