  • By serving as the primary technical authority and strategic lead for our vital facility operations, you ensure the environments supporting our grid operations, aviation assets, and headquarters run flawlessly.

  • Below are the key, high-impact responsibilities where you will drive excellence, lead innovation, and make a tangible difference: Key Responsibilities & Core Duties Spearhead Strategic Program Leadership: Serve as the primary program manager and lead authority for facility operations.
  • You will define long-term goals, prioritize initiatives, and coordinate design, construction, and maintenance projects across critical BPA headquarters and specialized technical complexes.
  • Manage Large-Scale Service Contracts: Act as the primary representative overseeing major, integrated facility management service contracts.
  • You will direct resource allocation, monitor vendor performance metrics, and make critical decisions to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive Multi-Year Financial & Resource Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive, multi-year strategic plans for replacing aging infrastructure.
  • You will analyze system life cycles, oversee budgets and schedules, manage risks, and build data-driven business cases to secure project funding.
  • Act as the Authoritative Technical Expert: Provide expert-level guidance, consultative services, and problem-solving support to BPA staff, senior executives, and external business partners.
  • You will interpret building safety regulations, environmental best practices, and technical policy directives.

  • On-Call Status: Must respond to Facilities Emergencies 24/7 Position may be required to provide 24/7 critical operations to assigned facilities or systems to include on-call duties.
  • Must live within 60 miles in order to respond to emergencies.
  • There are no specific education requirements or substitution of education for experience for this position.
