You will serve as EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of the SECNAV Board for Correction of Naval Records.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of attorney-advisors, naval records examiners, military personnel specialists and administrative and clerical support personnel.
- →You will make recommendations to the Secretary of the Navy regarding the organization, staffing, and material resources needed for efficient operation of the Board and its Staff.
- →You will guide the Chief Attorney Advisor and the records examiners in presenting to the Board a sufficiently comprehensive statement of pertinent facts and applicable laws, regulations, and policies to enable the Board to resolve each application.
- →You will maintain the official record of Board minutes.
- →You will inform prospective applicants and their counsel concerning established policies and procedures of the Board for Correction of Naval Records and will interpret the Board's regulations in light of the governing statute.
