The purpose of this position is to independently perform and coordinate epidemiologic surveillance, studies, program evaluation, and community health assessment activities supporting service unit clinical, preventive, and public health programs. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Collect, validate, organize, and perform routine analysis of epidemiologic and health-related data using established methods and tools.
- →Draft written summaries and recurring reports for preventive medicine staff and service unit leadership.
- →Perform assigned portions of epidemiologic studies, surveys, and program evaluations using established protocols, methods, and procedures.
- →Participate in meetings with tribal, hospital, and community stakeholders to identify health priorities and information needs.
- →Assist with preparation of required tribal and Institutional Review Board (IRB) submission packages, approvals, and documentation under guidance.
Requirements

- ✓Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.

- ✓Upon receipt of instructions, applicants must complete all required background investigation forms within five (5) calendar days of issuance.
- ✓Timely completion is critical to avoid delays in processing or a determination of unsuitability.
