This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), Coverage and Analysis Group (CAG), Division of Policy and Evidence Review (DPER).. As a Epidemiologist, GS-0601-13, you will plan and conduct studies and projects to examine health care and health delivery phenomena of interest to CMS policy makers.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct independent epidemiological studies to evaluate Medicare beneficiary care and services.
- →Analyze CMS data to examine health care delivery phenomena that inform policy decisions.
- →Design and evaluate complex studies to improve health care services for CMS beneficiaries.
- →Review study protocols and serve on advisory committees providing epidemiological expertise.
Requirements
- ✓Education Requirement: In addition to meeting the qualification requirements, all candidates must have the following educational requirements: Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
- ✓This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
- ✓(TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION).
