This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Engineering Technician at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as an Engineering Technician responsible for developing plans and designs for a variety of projects of considerable scope and complexity.
- →Repair, maintenance, alteration, and construction of major technical and experimental facilities and installation infrastructure.
- →Incumbent exercises knowledge gained from extensive experience and on-the-job training in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering work.
- →Prepares plans, designs, and specifications required for approved special projects involving maintenance, repair, alteration, or construction.
- →Inspects facilities and prepares reports with various engineering features.
- →Prepares projects of broad scope and complexity for accomplishment by open-ended architectural/engineering (A-E) design/study development contracts.
