You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Engineering and Planning Department ofPSNS and IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will monitor the execution by the Engineering and Planning Department of the Plan of Action and Milestones developed for the specific ship or project by the Project Planning Team.
- →You will act as liaison between the Engineering and Planning Department and Ship's Force, Type Commanders, Naval Systems Commands, other naval activities and contractors.
- →You will monitor fund expenditures, schedule adherence and manning rates associated with the Engineering and Planning Department effort.
- →You will coordinate the efforts of all divisions of the Engineering and Planning Department with other organizational elements of the shipyard.
- →You will ensure funding is provided by the Business Office and requested technical information necessary for the Engineering and Planning Department to accomplish assigned tasks is available.
- →You will coordinate the acceptance of new work that obligates Engineering and Planning Department resources.
