You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NAVAL ARCHITECT) in the HULL SURVERY AND PRESERVATION BRANCH; STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DIVISION. of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan and execute assignments and projects to meet required objectives.
- →You will negotiate and justify projects to managers on conflicting priorities such as meeting technical requirements, standards and funding, scheduling or operational constraints to meet goals and objectives.
- →You will develop plans associated with the functional design, performance and evaluation of various underwater structural systems (such as submarines), their components, equipment, and subsystems.
- →You will utilize engineering drawings, technical manuals, or other technical materials in the performance of naval architectural work.
- →You will ensure timelessness of assignments.
- →You will be working 2nd shift.
