About the Role
About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Army Health Clinic Moncrief located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The position works on 16 different buildings scattered across Fort Jackson in collaboration with other onsite mechanics, engineering techs, and engineers. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Analyze, test, balance, and replace projects for all facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- →Provide oversight of facility operational readiness.
- →Initiate replacement projects for critical real property systems.
- →Screen medical equipment requests to determine utility compatibility and to plan infrastructure upgrades.
- →Advise on facility concerns and identify complex engineering technical issues, elevating to Engineer, when needed.
- →Write statement of work and prepare packages for validation.
- →Develop and provide detailed budgetary data to support long-range planning and maintenance activities
