You will serve as an Engineering Technician (Mechanical) in the Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF.
What You'll Do
- →You will develop technical work documents which define detailed requirements necessary to accomplish authorized work for assigned projects.
- →You will perform analysis and special studies for the purpose of developing or evaluating improvements in design, maintenance procedures or materials for assigned systems.
- →You will perform functional checkout, grooming, adjustment and test of new or modernized ship systems in an operational evaluation environment.
- →You will evaluate ship repair and overhaul or test and grooming problems to diagnose and correct deficiencies.
- →You will monitor work in progress and completed work, to make sure work documents are of acceptable quality and conform to current standards.
