About the Position: Serves as an Engineering Technician working under the general supervision of the Chief of Engineering Services for the Directorate of Public Works, Carlisle Barracks, PA. Works as a member of a project delivery team in the development of maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of real property assets on the installation. Performs computer-aided design drafting (CADD) work involved in maintenance and repair projects.
What You'll Do
- →Prepares drawings for a variety of military and civil works projects to include buildings, structures, and environmental restoration projects.
- →Provides construction surveillance technical expertise for daily operations or impromptu meetings.
- →Creates and maintains electronic and hard copy project files to record all construction-related documentation.
- →Responsible for the execution of required contract documents to initiate the acquisition process.
- →Works as a member of the project delivery team under the supervision of the Chief of Engineering Services.
