The primary purpose of this Engineering Technician (NH-0802-04) position is to provide scientific and engineering resources, equipment and skills, to analyze and test, materials, and components to support customers in sustaining and improving their products and processes produced or used during weapon system maintenance activities.
What You'll Do
- →Perform dimensional inspection of First Article, Conformance Verification Program and engineering requested parts/assemblies using various measurement equipment and software i.e (Calypso, Verisurf, Cam 2 Measure 10, V-tube and Measure-mind) including coordinate measuring machines (CMM's), FARO arms, Laser scanners and laser trackers.
- →Review and am responsible for the management, control, and testing of First Articles on structural, mechanical, and electrical parts and assemblies.
- →Develop written inputs acceptable for inclusion in contractual documents.
- →Provide specialized technical assistance for reverse engineering where dimensional measurement interpretations are required for the development application of technical data used for the manufacture, overhaul and repair of aerospace components and accessories.
