This vacancy is for a Electronics Engineer in the National Telecommunications and Information Administration within the Department of Commerce.
What You'll Do
- →As an Electronics Engineer, you will perform the following duties: Conduct electromagnetic compatibility analyses of various radiocommunications systems and provide leadership on spectrum engineering tasks.
- →Interpret policies and guidelines regarding the radio frequency spectrum.
- →Assess various radiocommunications systems, spectrum policies, and technical guidelines to prepare engineering reports.
- →Perform in-depth spectrum resource utilization assessments and recommend critical spectrum management policies.
- →Analyze wireless communication systems and draft recommendations.
- →Utilize databases and automated systems to retrieve, sort, analyze data, and prepare written reports.
- →Serve as a subject matter expert providing electronics engineering expertise.
- →This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Electronics Engineer GS-0855-13, FPL GS-14 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
Requirements
