About the Role
The Division of Enforcement, Office of Distributions is seeking a Distributions Supervisory Trial Attorney. As a Distributions Supervisory Trial Attorney, you will manage and coordinate the work of your team and perform a full range of supervisory duties.
What You'll Do
- →In this role as a Distributions Supervisory Trial Attorney, you will be responsible for: Supervising the work of Trial Attorneys who conduct and implement all distributions aspects of civil and administrative proceedings assigned by the Division and making Commission recommendations for distribution plan approval.
- →Overseeing litigation issues resulting from challenges to distribution plans.
- →Fostering the Office of Distributions' working rapport with other Enforcement attorneys, and staff within Office of General Counsel, Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Economic and Risk Analysis, Office of Investor Education and Assistance, Office of Financial Management and Office of the Secretary to collaborate on distributions matters as necessary.
- →Enforcing federal securities laws, setting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work.
- →Recommending promotions or reassignments; hearing and resolving complaints; mentoring and training staff; and identifying development and training opportunities for employees.
- →Participating with other supervisors in the management of the office, consulting with and advising senior managers on administrative matters relating to personnel and office procedures.
- →Managing and coordinating the work of teams, which can include attorneys, accountants, program analysts, experts and support staff, and performing a full range of supervisory duties.
